A small team with deep expertise. We keep it that way deliberately, so every client gets senior-level attention, not a junior with a playbook.

Our Story

Kutech was born from years of hands-on SQL Server work: contracting, consulting, training, and supporting databases across every industry and at every scale.

We started out running SQL Server training courses and quickly found that attendees kept calling back, not for more training, but for help with their production environments. Database design, upgrade planning, performance problems, day-to-day support. The demand for real-world expertise was clear.

Over time, what had been several separate brands (training, support, monitoring, consultancy) were brought together under one roof. Kutech was the result: a single company offering the full range of database services, built around a core of deep SQL Server knowledge.

Today our focus has shifted. Training is still available, but our primary work is consultancy, performance tuning, and ongoing support, the areas where experienced human expertise makes the biggest difference.

Our Standard

Every member of our technical team has deep knowledge of SQL Server internals, performance, architecture, and its operation in real-world scenarios. Each is Microsoft certified, and each has trained at the highest levels under the tutelage of SQLSkills.com, the training organisation run by Paul Randal and Kimberly Tripp, who continue to train Microsoft's own engineers in SQL Server.

The Blackbelt is SQLSkills' highest certification. Kevin was the first person in the world to earn it.

This isn't a marketing claim. It's a hiring requirement. We don't take on staff who haven't reached this standard, and we don't take on more work than our team can handle properly. Every engagement gets senior-level expertise.
